After years of working for PPG Chemical and a chemical company in New Orleans, Clayton Taylor started his own family-operated chemical company in 1982 out of the basement of his house. Within two years he rented a portion of a warehouse in Ridgeland, Mississippi. By 1984 he purchased land in Gluckstadt, Mississippi and started construction in 1986 on a 5000 square foot building. Since that time the company has expanded multiple times.
At the passing of our founder, his wife, Lucy Taylor took over the reins of the business. She serves as owner-CEO to this day. Taylor industries is known for its ability of providing competitive solutions for its clients at competitive pricing.
